I wanted to let you know about the video look book that Boston based brand Society Original Products and Quebec city's Boutique W-WLKN collaborated on. Society Original Products is becoming one of the staple brands to find at Boutique W-WLKN, one of the newest retail shops is Quebec City, Canada. Last season, they held Society down w/ a full in-store window display and this season they went in on a look book video completely curated by our neighbors up north. Please check out the video.

SW: I know the line was created last year, November 2010 but tell me what was your initial inspiration for the line? Take me back to that moment when you knew this is what you wanted to do.

Reemo: I was always into fashion heavy as a kid and always a sneaker head. I always thought it would be dope to start up a line thats hot and matched the sneakers in my closet but couldn't get myself focused on getting my dream started. One day I decided now is the time to get these ideas into motion.



SW: With that said, what keeps you motivated?

Reemo: What keeps me focused is the consistent change in fashion from the color waves, sneakers, & accessories.

My friends over at YMC have recently collaborated with Duluth, one of the original backpack companies. "Duluth Pack has its humble roots in a poor French-Canadian named Camille Poirer, who made his way west to Duluth. Arriving here in 1870. On December 12, 1882, Camille filed for a patent on a new type of packsack. It was a canvas sack that closed with a buckled flap, had new-fangled shoulder straps in addition to the traditional tumpline, a revolutionary sternu'm strap and an umbrella holder (for portable shade in this newly cutover country). Known then as the Poirer pack, this northwoods classic is referred to today as the original Duluth Pack. Be sure to check them out, tell em Fresh, Fly & Flashy sent ya! ; )

"Break It Down" by NeediCare

Clever, refreshing and thought provoking is the way I would describe the young Brooklyn bred rapper by the name of NiC, an acronym for "Need I Care" . The song and the video logical mirror each other in a very savvy way, they both embody a soulful vibe that is missing in Hip Hop today. The song is literally "a success story in reverse", NiC reaches a level of success in the first verse and by the third verse he takes us back to the present day hunger that he has to make it as an artist. We see this represented in the video with two females. The first whom is late for their meeting represents "success" and the second who is seen the studio with NiC represents his "love" for music. Watch and see how NiC pushes one away two gain the other with a great twist at the end!
