Fresh, Fly & Flashy Exclusive: ThOuSanDaiReZ Interview

Recently I had the pleasure of interviewing my friend and part owner of Brooklyn'n hottest new clothing line, ThOuSanDaiReZ. Steadily on the rise, ThOuSanDaiReZ is more than just a brand name it is a lifestlye. CEO's Rell, Rolo and Sha are the brains/talent behind the line and in a few short months they have made their dreams come into fruition with hard work, creativity and a hunger for success. Check out the interview and the line after the jump!

1. What made you decide to start your own clothing line?
It all started when we wanted to have smooth threads to match our style. We actually came to a point where we were tired of cashing out hundreds of dollars on expensive designer labels. So we decided to take that money and invest into our own but still mix it in with other high end brands to complete our look.

2. At what point did you feel your dream truly manifest with your clothing?
When we saw someone we didn't know wearing our line.

3. How did you come up with your brand name?
The name ThOuSanDaiReZ.... that name actually came from  3 brothers struggling to make it out here in this world. The name came from blood, sweat, dedication and hard work. The name is reality. you have to be a thousandaire before you become anything else.  any one can be a thousandaire, whether you work a 9-5 or hustle. If you ever had a bill that was a thousand dollars, earn a pay check that was a thousand, purchased apparel that was a thousand, save up to a thousand....you are a thousandaire... its more than just a brand name, its more like a lifestyle.

4. What have you all learned from being your own boss'?
We learned that with being your own boss the sky is not the limit, there are more opportunities present when you work for yourself. No salary cap. Success is your choice. Creativity expresses your voice. We also learned "humble hands don't get the first plate, but the best plate"...

5. Who are the essential people on your team?
3 minds are better than one...Thousandairez..3 ceos... rell, sha, and rolo... 3 brothers with the hunger for success. We can't forget all the ThOuSanDaiReZ supporters, with out them there's no us.

6. How involved are you in the design and production process?
We are all in the mix of designing. We also obtain help from Inkwell Customs, Sahle Jack and close loved ones to carry out some of our ideas...

7. What is your favorite piece thus far?
All of our items are our favorite, but the black Thousandairez signature hoody was our turning point, opened a new door of trendy menswear...

8. Where do you see your line 10 years from now?
We on being worldwide, to be the voice of the streets. We want to be in evey closet around the world.

9. What upcoming designers are you watching? Who do you feel is your competition?
Well we look up to Bape, BBC, Supreme, 10 Deep, the list goes on, but those are the main designers that inspire us to keep grinding, working hard and reaching for the stars. We actually are not here for competition. We just want people to enjoy what we love to do, which is getting ThOuSanDaiReZ on them.

12. Who is your inspiration and what keeps you motivated?
We motivate each other, Jay-Z said it all in this one line "nobody will fall because everyone will be each others crutches." The haters that pray on our downfall motivates us to keep being positive and grind hard. In thousandairez we trust. Success is a must!

13. Lastly, what does fashion mean to you?
Fashion means being unique. Fashion means being different. Fashion means putting anything together and making it look smooth. Fashion is a work of art. Fashion is what you make of it... your life... your choice... live out your dreams.
